Brett and Francine started their nonprofit to support the healing, empowerment, and long-term well-being of Indigenous communities. Through their professional and personal experiences, they witnessed the ongoing challenges many Native families and communities face, including mental health struggles, substance recovery, generational trauma, youth
advocacy needs, and barriers to culturally appropriate services.
They founded the organization to create programs rooted in Indigenous values, cultural resilience, and community-driven solutions. A core part of their mission is addressing generational and historical trauma by creating safe spaces for healing, restoring cultural identity, and strengthening family systems. They are deeply committed to promoting
Indigenous youth leadership and advancing tribal sovereignty by educating and empowering the next generation to understand their rights, governance systems, and the importance of holistic wellness.
By combining Francine’s expertise in tribal governance, advocacy, community engagement, and mental health awareness with Brett’s experience in tribal court advocacy, recovery support, peer mentorship, and family reunification programs, they work to strengthen families, promote mental health, support culturally grounded wellness, uplift Indigenous youth, reinforce sovereign self-determination, and create pathways toward collective healing—for the benefit of the next seven generations.
